It's CareerViewXR Fall Launch day! Not to brag, but this launch day marks a big milestone for us - CareerViewXR has over 100 field trips in the content library for all to explore. Launch after launch, our library gets more variety thanks to our industry partners and subscribers from both near and far!

Come one - come all! All-new CareerViewXR field trips are ready to be explored! So, what's new?

Which are you diving into first? With these new additions, the CareerViewXR library now features 105 different experiences. Once you've had a chance to dig in, we'd love to hear what you think about the new offerings!

As an added bonus, this launch day also includes the revamped release of a few of our oldest experiences! These updated offerings include: Automotive Technician, Construction Project Manager, Dental Assistant, Dental Hygienist, Electrician, Petroleum Engineer, Plumber, Diesel Technician (Ag), Welder/Fabricator. While we love our older field trips, we knew they could use a little TLC to be closer to our current content standards. We had an absolutely wonderful time sponsoring and participating in the AR/VR Policy Conference hosted by the Information Technology and Innovation Foundation & XR Association! It was great to be in the room with so many XR enthusiasts, legislators, and fellow innovators. We thank everyone who came in person or tuned in online to hear CareerViewXR CEO & Co-Founder, Matthew Chaussee, speak on achieving mainstream adoption of XR. Watch the recording here.

It's time to check in with Team BMC & CareerViewXR! Here's a very quick rundown of some of our adventures:

• 🎒 The school year returned, which meant we had to say farewell to our Creative Intern Angel Ghaley. We miss you already Angel!
• 👔 Where in the world is Matthew Chaussee? From KY to Washington D.C. to MO, he's been busy at events and conferences!
• 🎥 The team took our cameras to manufacturing spaces, a childcare center, a college campus, farm equipment dealers, and more. Our cameras also went on a high-octane adventure in the sky! (Skydiving Instructor field trip is available today, don't miss it!)
• ⚾ Team BMC went on a team outing to a Fargo-Moorhead Redhawks baseball game.

October is both National Manufacturing Month and National Disability Employment Awareness Month, the perfect time to be working on Bismarck State College's XR for VR project! It's a federally funded initiative working to align individuals with disabilities with great jobs in the state's manufacturing sector. One of the goals of this project is to use immersive 360°/VR storytelling to showcase real manufacturing workplaces, roles, and the tools and accommodations that help every team member thrive. 

We've already been filming in some of BSC's awesome spaces (pictured above), but we want to get on active manufacturing floors! We’re putting out a casting call for manufacturing facilities across North Dakota that employ individuals with disabilities and are willing to share what’s working.
 

We want to capture:

• How you’re achieving success with accessible workflows, training, technology, and culture. 
• What partnership and collaboration look like with schools, agencies, and industry groups.
• Practical steps other manufacturers can take to replicate your approach.

Participating employers will gain far more than just being featured. You’ll become a key partner in the XR for VR project and receive:

• Direct support in your disability hiring and workforce initiatives from CareerViewXR, Impact Dakota, ND Assistive, and the XR for VR team.
• Copies of all immersive materials produced for your facility—free to use in your own recruiting and outreach initiatives.
• Recognition as a statewide leader in building an inclusive manufacturing workforce.
• Inclusion in national advocacy, workforce, and disability inclusion conversations.
